2014-15Wrestled at both 197 and 285 lbs., but was injured late in season, missing out on chance to wrestle at Super Region II tournament for the first time... Went 17-9 overall on the year, with 13-5 record at 197 lbs. and 4-4 record at heavyweight... Won six matches by fall... Champion of freshman/sophomore bracket at Hokie Open... Champion at King Open... Went 4-0 with four pins at Newberry Duals... Placed fourth at Wolfpack Open... Sudden victory win at heavyweight over Central Missouri clinched win at National Duals... 

2013-14: Went 12-14, plaicing fourth at Pembroke Classic and fifth at King Open...

2012-13: Went 9-6, placing fifth at Pembroke Classic in his redshirt season...

Prior to Newberry: Was a three-sport athlete at Chapin... Four-year wrestling letterman, winning region three times... Lower state champion as junior and senior... State runner-up as senior... Set school's single season wins record as a senior with 56-3 record and had a career record of 128-22... Was also a two-year defensive end on the football team and swam freestyle and breaststroke as a freshman and sophomore...

Personal: Son of Tony and Shelly Brundage and Laura and Craig Dawsey... Mother (Laura Dawsey) competed in the biathlon at University of Vermont... Member of Newberry's Summerland Honors Society... Career ambition is to teach middle school and coach high school wrestling before working his way up to athletic administration... Favorite movie is Good Will Hunting...
