Alex Daly joined the Newberry College Wolves media relations staff as a graduate assistant in August of 2024.
Alex received his undergraduate degree in Sports Communications from Montclair State University in Montclair, NJ. Â
While an undergraduate, Daly served as co-host of the "Breaking the Ice" radio show on 90.3 WMSC Radio and was a content creator for the Montclair State Red Hawk Sports Network.
He produced, filmed, edited, and scripted various feature packages including interviews with players and coaches and cut highlights and created graphics for publication to social media.
Daly also worked with the Feliciano School of Business at Montclair State, strategically acquiring inclusive b-roll footage to elevate main video content by carefully curating diverse footage selections, to enhance storytelling and engage viewers. He also enhanced audio quality in videos to improve overall production value and developed creative and engaging video concepts that align with the business school's vision.
