NEWBERRY – Newberry’s men’s and women’s cross country programs will compete on seven occasions during the fall 2017 campaign.
The Wolves will run three times within the state of South Carolina, including at the season-opening Palmetto State Cross Country Festival on the campus of Columbia International University on Sept. 2. Newberry will also compete in Rock Hill at the Winthrop/Adidas Invitational on Sept. 16 and in Spartanburg at the USC Upstate Invitational two weeks later.
Newberry will visit Southside Park in Newton, North Carolina for the Lenoir-Rhyne Invitational on Sept. 8. The course will also play host the 2017 South Atlantic Conference Cross Country Championships on Oct. 21.
The Wolves’ final tuneup for the SAC Championships will be the Fighting Owls Invitational, hosted by Warren Wilson University in Asheville, North Carolina. Wingate hosts this season’s NCAA Division II Southeast Regional on Nov. 4.
