Men's Cross Country finishes fourth in Erskine Invitational

DUE WEST, S.C. - Newberry College men's cross country team placed fourth out of 14 teams at The Erskine Invitational in Due West, S.C. Wingate University finished first and North Georgia College and State was second.

Individually, freshman Devon Gillett (Jessup, Mary.) was the top finisher for the Indians with a time of 29:17; good enough for 16th. Fellow freshman Kamron Johnston (Bossier City, La.) finished right behind him in 17th with a time of 29:18.

Jayce Watson of Wingate was the individual race winner with a time of 26:16.
