Indians finish 6th at Limestone Invitational

GAFFNEY, S.C. – The Newberry College men’s cross country team finished sixth as a team at the Limestone Invitational in Gaffney, S.C. on Saturday morning. Anderson University won the 8K event with Presbyterian College coming in second.

Individually, Newberry’s Devon Gillett (Jessup, Mary.) completed the race with a time of 28:47 that placed him 18th. Kamron Johnston (Bossier City, La.), Bradley House (Lexington, S.C.), and Jack Holden (Burlington, N.C.) finished 26th, 27th, and 28th. Seth Utley (Columbia, S.C.) rounded out the top 30 with a time of 30:33.

Limestone College’s Matt Conant was the individual champion of the Limestone Invitational with a time of 26:48, 11 seconds ahead of second-place Adam Growblewski of Erskine College.
