Newberry finishes 5th at Connie Maxwell Invitational

GREENWOOD, S.C. - Newberry College men's cross country finished fifth in it's first meet of the season at the Connie Maxwell Invitational in Greenwood, S.C. on Saturday morning. The Indians finished with a round of 116 points. 

Newberry placed two runners in the top 30, with freshman Bradley House coming in 15th with a time of 29:41. Sophomore Seth Utley finished 22nd with a 30:55 time and fellow sophomore Felipe Sobrinho completed the race in 32:23, for a 29th place finish.

The Indians continue their season with the Eye Opener Invitational in Spartanburg, S.C. on Saturday, September 8. Driving directions can be found here.
