Newberry runs in Lander Invitational

GREENWOOD, S.C. - The Newberry women's cross country team placed 11th in the Lander University 5K Invitational Saturday held in Greenwood.  Junior Olga Kuzmenkova (Smolensk, Russia) again paced the Lady Indians, finishing in 24 minutes and in 42nd place out of 82 runners.

The men competed individually with two runners in Lander's 8K run.  Senior Matt Titus (Columbia, S.C.) had the better time, finishing in 40:39 and in 53rd place out of 60 runners.
