ROCK HILL, S.C. As announced by the league Tuesday, the inaugural South Atlantic Conference Men’s and Women’s Indoor Track and Field Championships will be held at the JDL Fast Track in Winston-Salem, N.C. on Monday, Feb. 19, 2018. The facility will also host the championships in 2019 with an option for 2020.

JDL Fast Track is becoming one of the premier indoor track and field facilities in the southeast as it has hosted two NCAA National Championships, and the 2014 Division II and 2015 Division III national indoor meets.

Track and Field will return to Newberry College for the 2017-18 year after the hiring of Kimour Bruce in January of this year. Newberry’s addition of the program coincides with the first season the SAC will sponsor indoor track and field, giving the Wolves opportunities to compete for conference championships in both the indoor and outdoor seasons. Kimour can be reached at kimour.bruce@newberry.edu or 803-321-5114.

The 2019 South Atlantic Conference Men’s and Women’s Indoor Track and Field Championships are scheduled to be held on Monday, Feb. 18.
