Newberry swept Barton in doubles play with No. 1 Edison Ambarzumjan and Jose Navarro securing the 8-4 win while No. 2 Nikhil Mannepalli and Angel Pizarro beat Barton 8-3.

Navarro picked up the Wolves’ remaining point in singles with the 6-3, 6-1 advantage.

The tournament began a day early due to upcoming weather concerns. Three Wolves were unable to finish singles play due to the late start.
