MUSCLE SHOALS, Ala. - After 54 holes in the Men’s Division II South/Southeast Regional at the Fighting Joe Golf Course at The Shoals Golf Club, the Newberry College Wolves will be heading to the Division II National Championships which will take place in Kissimme, Fla. later this May.
Newberry earned a sixth-place finish after shooting an eight-over 296 for the second day in a row. The top seven teams after the three-day regional would receive a national bid.

Backed by the impressive performances from Bolton and Carlos Leandro, Newberry will head to the National Championship for the first time since the 2010-11 season.
Bolton lead the five-man team with a three-under 69 on the day climbing 23 spots up the leaderboards to finish tied for 11th place, collecting six birdies in the round.
Leandro finished under par for the third consecutive day with a one-under 71 and a fifth overall finish at six-under.
Spencer Skiff and Ben Thompson rounded out the top-four Newberry golfers with four-over and eight-over performances respectively. Evan DeGrazia also competed for Newberry turning in an 11-over 83 after 18 holes.
