Indian golf tied for first after day one of UNA Fall Classic

FLORENCE, Ala. - The Newberry men's golf team is tied for first after Monday's first round at the Blackberry Trail golf course in Florence, Ala. in the University of North Alabama Fall Classic. Indian freshman Ben Lown's (North Augusta, S.C.) 68 on Monday broke the school record for an 18-hole low score. Before Lown's 68, four Indians held the school-best low round of 18-holes at 70.

The Indians continue play this morning in pursuit of their first tournament win of the 2007-08 season. A full recap and tournament statistics will be available after the completion of the tournament.
