Indians Finish Fourth at Dogfight

CLAYTON, NC - The Newberry College menís golf team shot a second-round 293 to finish in fourth place in the Dogfight at the Neuse, hosted by Barton College.

The Indians finished the 36-hole tournament shooting a combined total of 601.  Barton won the overall team title, shooting a combined total of 583.

Brian Rush shot a one-under par 71 in the second round to finish in a tie for 20th place with a 150.  Fellow teamate Charles Wager shot a 73 to also finish in 20th place with a 150.

The Indians will participate in the Charlotte Shootout, hosted by Belmont Abbey College, next Monday.
