PROSPERITY, S.C. - The Newberry College men's and women's golf programs will assist with the Mid-Carolina Club Junior Golf Camp to be held at the Mid-Carolina Club July 10-14.  Ages four to 17 are welcome to attend, with youngsters fourth grade and down (the "Nationwide Tour") attending morning sessions and rising fifth graders and up (the "PGA Tour") attending afternoon sessions.

Campers will work on fundamentals at the club on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday under the guidance of Lee Duncan, head golf pro at MCCC, and his staff.  On Wednesday, the Nationwide Tour will voyage to the Lake Murray Golf Center to utilize the driving range, par three course, and miniature golf course there. (The PGA Tour will hold all sessions at Mid-Carolina.)

The camp costs $80 for children whose parents are members at Mid-Carolina, and $100 otherwise.  Interested parties may pick up applications in person at the club's pro shop. Contact Lee Duncan or Mark Memoli at (803) 364-3193 for more information.
