NEWBERRY - After a two week hiatus, Newberry will look to rebound at Coker on Wednesday, Jan. 3 at the DeLoach Center with a scheduled start time of 8:00 p.m.

  • Rob Valentine and Quaman Burton orchestrated a second half surge against nationally-ranked Lincoln Memorial. Burton had 17 points in the second half and went 5-for-6 from beyond the arc, finishing the night with 24 points and seven rebounds. Valentine finished with 21 points and five rebounds, tallying 11 of his last 14 points in the final 10 minutes of the contest.
  • Rob Valentine has led all Newberry scorers in the past two matchups with 22 and 21 points, respectively.
  • Freshman Max Miller connected on his first trey of the season during the first half against Lincoln Memorial.
