NEWBERRY – Newberry welcomes Anderson on Saturday and looks to start a new winning streak. Tipoff is scheduled for 8:00 p.m.

NEWBERRY STORYLINES

 

Newberry is first in the South Atlantic Conference and fourth in the NCAA Divison II in scoring offense at 97.4.

The Wolves recorded three blocks against Queens, its highest output since Jan. 11 against Coker.

Newberry is second in NCAA Division II in steals per game at 14.0.

The Wolves are currently on a three-game losing streak.

Seven Newberry players recorded four rebounds each against Queens.


ANDERSON STORYLINES

Randall Shaw leads Anderson and the South Atlantic Conference with 21.6 points per game,

The Trojans defeated Newberry 104-93 on Dec. 10 at the Abney Athletic Center.

Carlos Dotson is fourth in the SAC with 8.1 rebounds per game.

Christian Jeffords is fourth in the SAC in three-point field goal percentage at 48.2 percent.


NOTES

The Wovles are 7-3 at Eleazer Arena this season. 

Gerald Evans is first in NCAA Division II in total steals with 56.
