NEWBERRY – Newberry College Wolves travel to Hartsville to play Coker College in a South Atlantic Conference showdown on Wednesday, Jan. 13th.

The Wolves lost their game to Tusculum by a score of 103-98 in Greeneville, Tenn. on Saturday, Jan. 9th. Newberry will look to get above .500% in conference play and stay in the middle of the pack with a win. The Wolves fell to sixth place with the lose giving them a 4-4 record in the conference.


  • Newberry shot 50.5% from the field and 40% from the three point marker while shooting 85% at the charity line.
  • Ronell Crockett led the way for the Wolves with 18 points going 5-6 from the field and 8-8 at the line.
  • Brandon Taylor scored 12 points for Newberry going 5-11 from the field and 2-6 from behind the arc.
  • Xavier Hill finished the night off going 4-4 from the field with two threes and 3-5 at the line which gave him 13 points.
