Newberry enters Top 25 in D2SIDA National Poll

WICHITA, Kan. - Following an 88-80 conference victory over the Tusculum Pioneers on Saturday evening, the Newberry College men’s basketball team climbed into the D2SIDA National Poll at No. 24.

This is the second time Newberry has been featured in the Top 25 of this poll as they were most recently ranked No. 16 prior to the defeat at Lincoln Memorial.

Newberry sits at 11-1 entering their contest on Wednesday evening against the Catawba College Indians, a team they defeated earlier in the season 108-101. The game is scheduled for 8 p.m. inside Eleazer Arena.
