Newberry improves one spot in regional poll

WICHITA, Kan. - Following an 88-80 conference win over the Tusculum Pioneers on Saturday afternoon, the Newberry College men's basketball team moved up one spot to No. 4 in the D2SIDA Southeast Regional Poll.

Newberry sits three votes above King and trails UNC Pembroke by 10 votes for third place. South Atlantic Conference foe Lincoln Memorial sits in first place with 69 votes and continue to keep their perfect record in tact.

The Wolves continue conference play on Wednesday evening as they host Catawba at 8 p.m. inside Eleazer Arena.
