KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The Newberry College men's basketball team has held onto the No. 21 ranking in the NABC National Poll for another week. This week's poll does not account for the Wolves defeat last night at Lincoln Memorial, which was the first loss on the Wolves' schedule to date.

Newberry's record is reflected at 10-0 following a 99-80 victory over the Southern Wesleyan Warriors on Saturday evening in side Eleazer Arena. In the victory, James Ashby paced the way with 16 points along with Dondray Walker's 15 points. Mitch Riggs and Demarkus Smith contributed 14 points each.

Yesterday's game was the final contest for Newberry in 2014. They return to action on January 3 as they host the Tusculum Pioneers inside Eleazer Arena at 4 p.m. Following that matchup is a contest at home on January 6 against the Catawba College Indians.
