NEWBERRY - Following a successful weekend at the Sodexo SAC/Conference Carolinas Challenge hosted by Coker College the Newberry Wolves look to continue their winning ways as they travel to take on the Yellow Jackets of Allen University inside the John Hurst Adams Gymnatorium.

The Wolves were victorious on Friday afternoon inside the DeLoach Center against the Erskine Flying Fleet 80-74. Led by Mitch Riggs who tallied 22 points off of 6-of-8 shooting at the charity stripe and 4-of-7 from downtown. Riggs' 22 points is a new career high for the Junior from Langwarrin, Victoria, Australia.

On Saturday Newberry's James Ashby led the way with 16 points on a perfect shooting (5-of-5) day from the floor to earn the 86-69 win over the North Greenville Crusaders.

Both days, the Scarlet and Gray had five players in double digits, including Gerald Evans who combined for 21 points on the two days. Evans and Riggs were both named to the All-Tournament team for the Sodexo SAC/Conferences Carolinas Challenge.

Tonight the Wolves travel to Columbia for a matchup on against the Allen Yellow Jackets at 7 p.m.
