ST. CHARLES, Mo. – In a 2-1 loss Newberry proved unable to mount a comeback against No. 1 tournament ranked Limestone on Friday, Nov. 3 in the 2017 ECAC DII Field Hockey League Tournament hosted by Lindenwood University’s field hockey team.

The Wolves were looking for their first win against the Saints, falling to them twice in the regular season with scores of 4-0 and 1-0.

In the 49th minute, Kristyna Oyola gathered her shot off a deflection in front of the goal to score Newberry’s only goal on the night.

Limestone notched seven penalty corners, leading Kate Remley to score one of her two goals on the night.
