NEWBERRY – Former Newberry student-athletes are set to square off in an NFL game for the second time when Brandon Bostick’s New York Jets visit Ron Parker’s Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday afternoon. Last year, the Vikings Edmond Robinson squared off against Parker's Cheifs in an NFL regular season tilt.

Former Newberry players have faced each other in preseason play multiple times, but Sunday afternoon’s contest at Arrowhead Stadium marks the second time former Wolves have been on opposite sidelines for a regular-season contest.

Parker is expected to start at free safety for Kansas City. He has accumulated nine tackles, including a tackle for loss, and has two passes defended through the first two games of the season. Bostick will back up starting tight end Kellen Davis for New York and has yet to record a statistic in 2016.

The game will not be available locally, with most CBS affiliates across the Southeast opting in to the Pittsburgh at Philadelphia matchup in the same time slot. Viewers in the Northeast and across large swaths of the Midwest will be able to view the contest.
