BROOKFIELD, Ill. - A total of seven Newberry Wolves have earned All-Super Region Two honors from Don Hansen's Football Gazette, as announced Tuesday.

The pack of honorees is led by first team all-region punter Kyle Clark. On the second team are offensive tackle Landon Martin, defensive tackle Jalen Hunter and linebacker Taylor McDonnell. On the third team are quarterback Raleigh Yeldell, offensive guard Hayden Wilks and defensive end Alstevis Squirewell.

Clark (Beaufort, S.C.) adds to a long list of postseason accolades. He has won three straight D2CCA/Daktronics all-Super Region II honors and is a three-time first team all-South Atlantic Conference honoree. He also earned ECAC All-Star honors as a junior and senior. Clark led the conference in punting average for the third consecutive season, averaging 42.5 yards on 57 punts, placing 20 punts inside the opponents' 20-yardline in the regular season.

Martin (Pelzer, S.C.) adds the Hansen honor to his postseason honors after also earning ECAC All-Star, first team all-South Atlantic Conference and second team D2CCA all-Super Region II honors as a senior. In his senior campaign, Martin graded out at 91% and had 44 knockdown blocks.

Hunter (Seneca, S.C.) was a first team all-South Atlantic Conference honoree who adds his first career all-region honor. He ranked third on the team in tackles from his position at defensive tackle. He had 56 total tackles, a sack, 6.5 tackles for loss, a trifecta sack/FF/FR against Jacksonville and a fumble returned for a touchdown at Lenoir-Rhyne.

McDonnell (Bluffton, S.C.) is an ECAC All-Star, first team D2CCA all-Super Region II honoree and a two-time first team all-SAC honoree. He twice earned AstroTurf SAC Defensive Player of the Week honors and ranked second in the league with 58 solo tackles, fifth in the league with four sacks and led the conference with three fumble recoveries in the regular season. He had nine solo tackles, three tackles for loss and two sacks - with one for a safety - in the Wolves' playoff-clinching win at Wingate.

Yeldell (Johnston, S.C.) was an ECAC All-Star honorable mention and second team all-South Atlantic Conference honoree. Yeldell completed 128-of-197 passes (65.0%) for 1,454 yards, 13 touchdowns and only two interceptions with 65 carries for 346 yards and six touchdowns in the regular season.

Wilks (Chesterfield, S.C.) earns his first all-region honor after being named second team all-South Atlantic Conference. Wilks graded out at 92% with 57 knockdowns, not allowing a sack all year.

Squirewell (Great Falls, S.C.) was an ECAC All-Star, first team D2CCA all-Super Region II honoree and a two-time first team all-SAC honoree. He notched 50 tackles in the regular season with 4.5 sacks, 13 tackles for loss, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery. He also earned AstroTurf SAC Player of the Week honors for his one-handed pick six interception to seal the win over Tusculum. That performance also earned him a nomination for the SBNation Piesman Trophy - the award for linemen making non-lineman plays.
