Joining Yeldell as this week's ECAC Division II Players of the Week are Mike Zanders of Gannon on defense, Brandon Mansell of Gannon on special teams and freshman quarterback Mason Bendigo of Lindenwood as rookie of the week.
This is Newberry's second ECAC football player of the week this year, as running back Romelo Doctor earned offensive honors for his performance in the Catawba game.
Yeldell and the Wolves battle for the Bishops Trophy this weekend, traveling to Hickory, N.C., for a 2 p.m. kickoff at Lenoir-Rhyne.
