LOUDOUN COUNTY, Va. - Newberry College alumnus Corey Washington was added to the practice roster of the NFL's Washington Redskins, as announced by the team Monday.

The 6-4 wide receiver played 14 games for the New York Giants in 2014 and had five receptions for 52 yards and a touchdown. He was released/injured prior to Week One of the 2015 season. He was also named the NFL's Preseason MVP in 2014 after catching four game-winning touchdowns for the Giants.
