NEW YORK - Newberry College's Corey Washington and Letavious Williams have earned preseason All-American accolades from the USA Football Network, as announced by the website Monday morning.
Washington earned third team honors at wide receiver, while Williams earned honorable mention on the defensive line.

Washington (North Charleston, S.C.) was a first team all-South Atlantic Conference receiver in 2012. He finished the season with 51 receptions for 776 yards and nine touchdowns, ranking sixth in the league in receiving yards per game. His 776 yards and nine touchdowns rank fifth in a single season at Newberry, with the 51 receptions the ninth-most in the school's history.
Williams (Ware Shoals, S.C.) was a second team all-SAC defensive lineman last year. He tied for eighth in the league with 7.5 tackles for loss of 45 yards and also had three sacks. He had a total of 24 tackles on the season.
Both players will be included on preseason all-SAC teams, which will be released in full on Tuesday.
