KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Former Newberry College cornerback Kamaal McIlwain has been signed to a contract by the NFL's Kansas City Chiefs, as announced by the club Thursday.

With McIlwain's signing by the Chiefs, there are now three former Newberry players on NFL rosters. Safety Ron Parker is entering his third season with the Seattle Seahawks, while tight end Brandon Bostick is making an impression in his second season with the Green Bay Packers.
