Preseason football practice set to begin Friday

NEWBERRY, S.C. - The Newberry College Wolves football team reported to preseason camp Thursday, with over 120 student-athletes returning to campus to prepare for the 2010 season. After a day full of paperwork, issuing of equipment and moving in to the dorms, the Wolves are anxious to hit the turf at Setzler Field for practice on Friday.

Head coach Todd Knight has announced the days and times for the first three practice sessions, with next week's schedule set to be released on Monday. All practices will be held at Setzler Field and will be open to the public. Practice sessions on Friday, Saturday and Monday will begin at 2 p.m.

Practice reports will be available on following every session of preseason camp as the Wolves ready themselves for the September 4 opener against Livingstone.
