Indians Crack Top 25 Poll

WACO, Texas - For the first time since the move to NCAA Division II status, the Newberry College football team has earned a spot in the national polls, checking in this week at No. 24 in the AFCA Div. II Coaches’ poll.

The Indians (4-0) received 55 points this week after receiving just 27 votes the previous week. Other South Atlantic Conference members in the poll this week include Carson-Newman at No. 6 and Catawba at No. 15.

Newberry will face Carson-Newman on Saturday at Setzler Field for a 4:00 pm kickoff.
