INDIANAPOLIS - For the first time in nine seasons, the Newberry College football team is regionally ranked.  The Indians are coming off four consecutive wins against South Atlantic Conference opponents, the first time that has occurred since 1979.

Newberry is gearing up for this Saturday's showdown with Presbyterian, the #2 ranked team in the region and South Atlantic Conference champions.  A win would guarantee the Indians at least a share of second place, the first time since 1984 that has been achieved.
