Named to the All-SAC second team as a freshman... Led the team with a 2.02 ERA... Carried a 6-2 record with 12 appearances and nine starts... Tossed one complete game and was a part of the shutout against North Greenville (2/5)... Recorded 42 strike outs in 58 innings pitched...

Played three years of baseball for coach Ray Derrick... Named All-State and SCISA Pitcher of the Year... Played four years of football for Eric Kimmery and was All-State and the Offensive Player of the Year... Played one year of basketball... Was also a member of the shotgun team, winning one individual state title and two team titles...  

Son of David and LeeAnne Nidiffer... Grandfather, Buddy Nidiffer, played baseball, football and track from 1955-1958 at South Caronlina where he was an All-ACC selection, he then played professional football for the Detroit Lions as a tight end and even had a stint with the New York Yankees from 1958-1961... Mother, LeeAnne, cheered at Newberry College for two years... Uncle, Keith McAlister played four years of football at Newberry... Aunt, Lynn McAlister played volleyball and basketball from 1983-1984 for the Newberry Indians... Brother, Dave Nidiffer, played two years of football as a quarterback for Newberry... 

Favorite movie is Forrest Gump... Enjoys watching the T.V. show Duck Dynasty... Hobbies include hunting and fishing... Likes to watch football... Career ambition is to become a small business owner and farmer... Favorite athlete is Chipper Jones... Enjoyes personal finance classes... Likes listening to the Charlie Daniels Band... Best athletic moment was leading his high school to their 6th straight State Championship as the quarterback...
