In game two, Jon Rosenberger got the ball in the first game and continued his elusive ways to opposing batters on the mound, going seven complete innings while striking out eight batters, his third straight start with eight or more strikeouts and his second straight win. The right-hander did not surrender a run while scattering two hits in the outing before giving way to Matt Chapman who picked up the save in two innings of relief. Chapman struck out five of the six batters he retired but did give up a run on two hits, a solo home run to lead off the bottom of the ninth.

In game three, DeLee and Daniel Nations (Central, S.C.) each threw one inning each in relief to close out the game for the Wolves. DeLee gave up one run on two hits while Nations did not allow a run or hit and both pitchers fanned one batter.
