FOREST CITY, N.C. – Heavy rain in the Forest City, N.C., area has altered the schedule for the 2015 SAC Baseball Championship. The first contest between No. 5 Wingate and No.7 Anderson has been pushed back from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. All games are being played at McNair Field.

No. 1 Catawba and No. 4 Lincoln Memorial will now play at 5:30 p.m. instead of 3:45 p.m.

After defeating Wingate 9-0 Friday afternoon, second seeded Newberry was supposed to have a 7:30 p.m. first pitch with the third seeded Tusculum Pioneers. However, with weather issues the game is slated for 9 p.m.

The 9 p.m. game time could be moved up if the two prior games finish ahead of schedule. Please stay tuned to Newberry social media sites for the latest updates.
