MARS HILL, N.C. - The Newberry Wolves and Mars Hill Lions will have to meet another day because of the rain and snow in Mars Hill, N.C., over the weekend.

The South Atlantic Conference series was originally scheduled for Friday, February 20, and Saturday, February 21. With the rain and snow the team scheduled for Monday, February 23, but knew the chances were slim to get the games in.

The two teams have agreed to play a two game series with both games being seven innning contests on Monday, March 16, with first pitch at 1 p.m.

Newberry will travel to Due West, S.C., on Tuesday to take on the Erskine Flying Fleet at 2 p.m. and will return to the Smith Road Complex on Wednesday, February 25, to host Lincoln (Pa.) with a 6 p.m. first pitch.
