NEWBERRY, S.C. - Newberry College and head baseball coach Russell Triplett have announced the Wolves' 2011 playing schedule. This season's schedule features 23 games at the Smith Road Complex.

Every single game of the 2011 schedule is a Division II in-region game for the Wolves, as Triplett aims to return Newberry baseball to prominence in his first season as a collegiate head coach.

"We are excited about the 2011 schedule," Triplett said. "It's a great mixture of the top teams in our region as well the majority of the Division II schools from our state. This schedule will challenge our guys every time we take the field."

Of the Wolves' 18 different opponents, six have qualified for the NCAA Southeast Regional Tournament in the last two seasons, including four of the six teams from 2010.
