NEWBERRY, S.C. - The Newberry College Athletic Department will be hosting Kids Day at the upcoming baseball doubleheader on Saturday, March 27. Newberry will take the field against Wingate University starting at 1 p.m. All children 12 and under will be allowed in for free when accompanied by an adult ticket purchase.

The day will feature plenty of entertainment for all ages. Children's activities will start at 12:15 p.m. These activities will include games from the NBC TV show “Minute to Win It” and the chance to tour a City of Newberry police car. Prizes will be available for each child that participates in the games.

In addition to the games and activities, all children in attendance will have the opportunity to enter a drawing for the chance to win one of two remote control cars that will be given away through the drawing. Children will also have a chance to get their picture taken in an authentic Newberry College jersey. After both games are finished, parents and their children will have the opportunity to play catch in the outfield. So don't forget your gloves and come out to the Smith Road Complex on Saturday afternoon for some great college baseball.
