NEWBERRY, S.C. - Newberry College head baseball coach Bob Rikeman is pleased to announce his team will host its fifth annual Halloween Game on Friday, October 30, at the Smith Road Complex. The game will start at 5 p.m.

The Halloween Game features the Newberry baseball players in full costume in a game of softball. Children of all ages are invited to come to the game and join the players on the field. Following the completion of the game, the team will award prizes to the guest with the best costumes.

"Our Halloween Game is a great opportunity for our players to give back to the community," Rikeman said. "They get to have fun and be a little crazy with their costumes, and the kids in town get to know the guys as people too. This day is one of my favorite parts of the school year because we can put a smile on a kid's face and I get to laugh at our team's costumes!"
