Baseball game vs. Augusta State postponed

NEWBERRY, S.C. - Tonight's baseball game between Newberry College and No. 29 Augusta State University has been postponed due to the threat of inclement weather, head coach Bob Rikeman announced.

The Indians and Jaguars will now clash on Tuesday, April 22. First pitch at the Smith Road Complex is slated for 6 p.m.

Newberry's next games come in a three-game series at Brevard College this weekend. The two teams will play one nine-inning game beginning at 2 p.m. Friday, and a doubleheader starting at noon Saturday.

The next games at the Smith Road Complex are slated for Monday, March 24, against West Virginia State University. First pitch is scheduled for 7 p.m.
