Indian Baseball and Softball has great Halloween practice

NEWBERRY, S.C. The Newberry College Baseball and Softball teams scrimmaged in their Halloween costumes Monday night as local children came and were able to trick or treat with the players. Baseball players showed up in a large variety of costumes, including Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Napolean Dynamite, John McEnroe, Hugh Hefner and a host of others. Softball players arrived in costumes of Geisha Girl, Army soldiers, a sumo wrestler and more.

Dr. Evil batsThe game started out as a runaway for the baseball team, but the softball girls fought back late and brought the game to a tie. The real winners were all of the children who were able to trick or treat with the players and have a good time with their parents and the players.
