Baseball broadcast schedule released for 2006

NEWBERRY, S.C. - Fans of Newberry College baseball can hear seven regular season games live on the Internet through Red Zone Media starting this Saturday. Four South Atlantic Conference games and every Newberry game of the Food Lion SAC Tournament will be carried on WKDK AM 1240 and on the website.

Two consecutive Saturdays of baseball will start this Saturday at 3 p.m. Newberry will play a doubleheader at Catawba on March 18.  The Indians will have the same start time on March 25 against Wingate.

Two weekday games next week against West Virginia State will be available on the Internet.  Monday's game at 3 will be carried exclusively online, and Thursday's 6 p.m. start will be simulcast on WKDK and on the 'Net.

The April 6 game at USC Aiken will be broadcast at, with WKDK's Joel Lewis calling the action.  It will start at 6:30.

The Food Lion South Atlantic Conference Tournament begins on April 20, and will run through April 23.
