Yarborough Strength & Conditioning Facility
Newberry College’s student-athletes have been able to take advantage of the Yarborough Strength and Conditioning Center since its opening in the 2010-11 academic year.
Located in the Physical Education Complex adjacent to Eleazer Arena, the Yarborough Strength and Conditioning Center contains eight full racks and six half racks, all of which are state-of-the-art racks constructed by Sorinex. At full capacity, the weight room can safely see 42 student-athletes in lifting rotations simultaneously.
Student-athletes will be able to squat, clean, bench, front squat, power clean and close grip at every rack. The weight room also has dumbbells ranging from five- to 100-pounds. There are also four glute-ham raise stations, six strap stations and six plyometrics stations.
